Don’t underestimate what pregnancy can do to your body. I’d like to think that I’m quite fit – I mean, I do yoga every week and I cycle to work everyday. Still, my body aches, my muscles hurt and I’m constantly feeling tired; most nights, I’m in bed by 10pm, and even then, I rarely get a good night sleep. So, I’ve decided to give pregnancy massage a go. I love getting a massage. I used to go at least twice a month. I don’t know why I stopped (let’s just blame my hectic work schedule, or maybe I’m just downright lazy), but it’s a habit that I really want to get back into. I mean, everyone needs a ‘pampering me’ time every now and then, right? I just have to make that effort of calling the centre, booking for an appointment and actually go. Anyway, the pregnancy massage – I’m lucky because there’s a centre that offers it not too far away from where I live, and it’s really good! The price is a bit steep: £48 for 60 minutes and £68 for 90 minutes, but it’s worth every penny; my therapist was amazing, I felt so relax and rejuvenated afterwards. I’m definitely going back.
